Just this month a bill was filed in Austin to grant owners the right to appeal the seizure of a pet. Heretofore in Tarrant County and elsewhere, a city could seize a pet, and due to flawed legislation the owner had no legal recourse for disputing the “dangerous dog” label.

Please help. This is a gross violation of our constitutional right to own property, a violation of our right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures. Dogs are stolen and murdered without cause.
