Mmm… Collards

Say anything you want about collard greens, because if you don’t like ’em, that just means more for me!

Here’s yet another quick way to sauté this soulful green:

1 cube Not Beef
1 cup water
1 head collards, stems and leaves roughly chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup white onion, minced
2 tbs red wine vinegar
2 tbs Liquid Smoke
1 tbs Cajun Chef
dash cracked black pepper

Add the Not Beef and water to a skillet and sauté until the Not Beef is dissolved. Add collards, garlic, onions, and remaining ingredients. Sauté on medium high heat for 10 minutes, using kitchen scissors to cut up collards as you go. Finely shredded is best if you’re new to the leaf, but chunky is meaty and delicious.
